As we get closer to the end of the 2024 journal entries…I’m realizing how not very long ago it was. I think a lot of these feelings are more fresh than I gave them credit for. As with any other healing, things take time. Each person you meet in your life has an impact - and some last longer than others. I’m not sure what it is about Email Man, but he definitely left a big hole for me, and had a lasting impact.
I think it’s tough when you connect so well with somebody, and you check a lot, if not all of the boxes for each other in terms of what you want long-term…only to come to the confusing conclusion that we can’t be together? It’s been a pretty common narrative with the guys I’ve dated recently…
